UNITED KINGDOM prohibits gas boilers in new homes

Gas boilers will be banned for new homes in the UK starting in 2025 in an attempt to combat carbon emissions, as announced recently by the government.

Philip Hammond said that new standards "require the end of fossil fuel heating equipment in new homes from 2025 onwards, thereby reducing carbon emissions and fuel bills."

These measures are intended to make a major contribution to the fight against the current climate crisis.
