The 2nd International Giacomini Congress, “The Future of the Algarve\u201d – Resources, Buildings and Economy, was a resounding success on October 3rd!<\/p>\n\n

Among the speakers, we had the invaluable collaboration of Eng. Francisco Fernandes, Technical Director, Head of Innovation and Development at ENERGIE, who spoke on the topic of “The Contribution of Heat Pumps to the Decarbonisation of Buildings”.<\/p>\n\n

ENERGIE was honoured to attend the Congress at the invitation of GIACOMINI PORTUGAL and its partner Canalcentro SA.<\/p>\n\n

“Throughout the afternoon, international experts and professionals from the construction, energy, environment, architecture, engineering and heating & cooling sectors analyzed “The Future of the Algarve: Resources, Buildings and the Economy”. <\/p>\n\n

During the session, strategies and solutions were presented to address two of the region’s biggest challenges: thermal inefficiency and water scarcity. <\/p>\n\n

The Deputy Mayor of Loul\u00e9 City Council, David Pimentel, and the Vice Rector of the University of the Algarve, Jo\u00e3o Rodrigues, have started the works. <\/p>\n\n

This was followed by lectures from renowned academics and personalities, who addressed the crucial issues of sustainability and quality of life in the Algarve. <\/p>\n\n
