The possibility of using other renewable energy systems as an alternative to solar thermal systems was thus established. In this sense, the EcoREN tool, created by LNEG, is available, which allows accounting, for the Portuguese climate, the fraction of renewable energy captured by the ENERGIE thermodynamic solar system, models ECO 200, ECO 250 and ECO 300 for the production of Domestic Hot Water. (DHW).
