Pendant ce processus, le fluide change d\u2019\u00e9tat et se transforme en vapeur. Le fluide gazeux est ensuite aspir\u00e9 par la partie m\u00e9canique du syst\u00e8me \u2013 le compresseur. Dans le compresseur, le fluide est comprim\u00e9, ce qui augmente sa pression et, par cons\u00e9quent, sa temp\u00e9rature. Ensuite, le fluide se d\u00e9place vers un second \u00e9changeur de chaleur interne (condenseur), o\u00f9 il transf\u00e8re la chaleur accumul\u00e9e au syst\u00e8me de chauffage de l\u2019habitation. En refroidissant naturellement, le fluide redevient liquide.
