Qui il fluido, con l\u2019aiuto di una ventola, assorbe energia dall\u2019ambiente grazie al differenziale di temperatura ottenuto all\u2019esterno, subendo un cambiamento di fase verso lo stato gassoso.&#13;\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Successivamente, il fluido viene aspirato dalla parte meccanica del sistema, il compressore. Qui viene compresso: la pressione aumenta e, di conseguenza, la temperatura del fluido si innalza. Il fluido viaggia poi verso un secondo scambiatore di calore interno (condensatore) e trasferisce calore all\u2019acqua presente nel serbatoio. La conseguente diminuzione della temperatura provoca il cambiamento di fase verso lo stato liquido.
