ECO AND ECOTOP RECEIVE MCS CERTIFICATION WITH NEW REFRIGERANT R513A

ENERGIE has just obtained MCS (Microgeneration Certification Scheme) certification for its ECO and ECOTOP range of Thermodynamic Solar Heat Pumps, now using the new R513A refrigerant — a more environmentally friendly and energy-efficient alternative — designed for the production of Domestic Hot Water (DHW).
The R513A refrigerant, with a lower Global Warming Potential (GWP), reinforces ENERGIE’s commitment to addressing the growing challenges posed by climate change, by seeking solutions that reduce environmental impact while maintaining the high performance and reliability that define its products.
MCS certification is an internationally recognised mark of quality, performance, and technical compliance. The certification process is rigorous and encompasses not only the technical evaluation of products but also an in-depth review of the manufacturing process, materials used, internal procedures, and training of the teams involved.
In the United Kingdom, MCS certification is mandatory for the marketing, installation, and eligibility for government incentives related to water heating systems.
