At this student residence, the solution chosen for Domestic Hot Water (DHW) production was an ECO 6000 ID-32HT system by ENERGIE, developed for installations with high DHW demands and available in high-capacity configurations. This system, featuring 32 thermodynamic panels and a 6,000-litre DHW capacity, plays a particularly relevant role in this project.
👉🏼 In an island environment, strongly influenced by marine conditions, equipment durability and material resistance to outdoor conditions are key factors when choosing a long-term solution. In addition, ENERGIE’s thermodynamic panels can capture energy from the surrounding environment under different weather conditions, without relying exclusively on solar radiation. This principle enables the ECO XL to produce hot water at temperatures of up to 55 °C, 24 hours a day, even during periods without sunlight.
A project where efficiency, reliability and durability come together in a solution designed to meet the demands of intensive daily use.
In the Azores, another reference project powered by ENERGIE technology.
