New installation in the Mercer Hotels – Barcelona.
The company Sun Systems, our Spanish partners, equip the hotel chain MERCER HO-TELS ***** in Barcelona.
An ENERGIE Thermodynamic Solar System was installed with 32 high temperature panels (65ºC) in a reduced space of only 27 m2. This installation was able to eliminate the consumption of the pre-existent natural gas boiler and supply 100% of the Domestic Hot Water (DHW) requirements with Thermodynamic Solar Panels, enabling savings higher than 60%.
The existing accumulator was also fitted with two helical exchangers inside, creating two new DN200 nozzles, reducing project costs and resulting in an ROI of 4.7 years, funded by IBERCAJA.
