Thermodynamic Solar System heats water in a soccer field.
In the rehabilitation of this sports complex was installed a Thermodynamic Solar System Eco XL of Large Volumes. Consisting of 24 Thermodynamic Solar Panels and 4000 litres of accumulation of Domestic Hot Water (DHW) for more than 120 athletes/day.
Sporting facilities are characterized by a high energy consumption and special energy needs, different from other types of consumers such as houses or offices, because they have different consumption patterns, dependent on a large portion of the specific sporting activity. It is clearly a strategic necessity the improvements that have the purpose of existing installation’s efficiency and the reduction of energy consumption.
The high energy consumption in sports facilities, notably in soccer fields or gymnasiums and gym pavilions, presents itself as a challenge and an opportunity to reduce its consumption and to improve the conditions of the complex. Being one of the main tangible goals, reducing the costs of exploitation of them.
In this article, we present an exemplary installation in sports complex with the Thermodynamic Solar System ENERGIE model ECO XL of large volumes.
Equipment consisting of 24 thermodynamic solar panels and 4000 litres of Domestic Hot Water accumulation for more than 120 athletes/day.
Maximum energy efficiency and high savings with the use of the sun and the air as a renewable energy source.
